Why choose a Crystal Domestic and Commercial Sewage Treatment Plant?
Domestic sewage treatment plant systems can be used when it is not possible to install a septic tank.
This can be due to high water tables, high levels of bedrock or clay soils giving poor soakaway test results. They solve many drainage disposal problems when mains drains are not available. Crystal Tanks can survey your individual site and advise which system, either a septic tank or a wastewater treatment unit, would be most suitable.

The sewage treatment process falls into two main categories; electrically operated and non-electric systems.
The electric systems comprise of a small electrically driven packaged unit, usually all contained in one tank or housing. The sewage is first settled to remove the gross solids and then biologically treated in a biozone, comprising of rotating discs, or air injection, with a final settlement stage to remove the fine solids. The effluent can be discharged about 95% clean, to a land drainage system or watercourse, (subject to Local Authority and Environment Agency Consents). Maintenance and emptying of the system will be required at regular intervals. There are numerous variants of packaged plants available on the market; the Clearflo and the Crystal CUBE are two of them.
The non-electric treatment process uses natural air currents to power the process; the BIOROCK is an example of this. |
