  The ClearFlo sewage treatment plant is designed to serve both domestic and commercial sites that have no access to mains drainage.  The plants have the  to produce a final effluent to a standard of 20mg/l Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and 30mg/l Suspended Solids on a 95 percentile basis.

  ClearFlo tanks are 2 stage extended aeration sewage treatment plants. These type of sewage systems digest the solids which would normally need to be tankered away from a 3 stage plant like Klargester or Entec, on a regular basis.  They can achieve 97% total solids digestion of all the sewage which enters the unit.  Please see How it Works ClearFlo plants can be used as a septic tank conversion

ClearFlo sewage treatment plants offer a very discreet solution to on-site wastewater treatment.  The small lid is flush with the ground and unlike its rivals; the compressor is housed in a dry safety chamber under the lid.  This ensures that no child or animal can fall in should the lid be removed!   There is no visually intrusive kiosk housing the compressor.

 ClearFlo sewage plants are craftsman built, very strong, superb quality, using thicker (6mm) fibreglass than any of their rivals and an all-fibreglass internal construction. There are NO metal struts to corrode, so they can offer a 30 year guarantee on all parts of the tank.  Compare this with other sewage treatment plants, most of which have only a 1 or 2 year warranty.

Unlike the Klargester Biodisc, the ClearFlo has NO internal moving parts.Three stage sewage treatment plants, like Klargester and Titan, settle the solids out in the primary settlement tank for regular emptying via tanker, but the Crystal ECO digests the solids as well as the organic material in the liquid part of the effluent, achieving 95%+ Total Solids Digestion.  This means that the emptying interval is extended up to 3 years, even for the 15 to 20 person plants which typically have to be emptied every 3 months when using 3 stage sewage systems.  Septic tanks have to be emptied annually and produce highly polluting effluent.  See septic tank systems.

The ClearFlo sewage treatment plant requires minimum concrete for the installation. This saves a fortune on time and materials.   Most manufacturers will tell you that a concrete surround is required to prevent the units rising up under high water table conditions, but the truth is that they require the concrete to provide the strength as the fibreglass is too thin to withstand the pressures.   (American sewage treatment plants are not concreted in, not even in the Louisanna swamps!)
