The Crystal Septic Tank is a traditional two chamber tank design and can be fitted with a Septic Filter to protect the soakaway.  These septic tanks produce a much better effluent than 'onion' shaped tanks as the effluent is far less septic and polluting to the environment.  They are very versatile and the tank inlet can be made to suit any drain depth.  They also have a much shallower in-ground depth.

The Crystal ClearFlo Sewage Treatment Plant - has the new Standard EN 12566-3.  Unlike a septic tank, it is suitable for direct discharge of to a water course or ditch, subject to E.A. Consent.  The quality is outstanding and it is probably the most versatile sewage system on the market.  They can also be used as a Cesspit Conversion unit and can discharge to a watercourse or soakaway, which we will design for you free of charge. 20:30:20 effluent standard.

 

 

The Crystal CUBE unit can be installed above ground if required.  This makes it ideal for fitting into cellars, basements, boats or for sloping sites.  It is also suitable for below ground installation.  The CUBE can be added to a septic system.  20:30:20 effluent standard.

Septic Tanks Conversion

All our plants can be used to convert septic systems it to a full wastewater treatment plant.  This is a much cheaper option than installing a new soakaway, as the clean water can discharge directly into a ditch.

Sewage Treatment Advice

There are two categories of sewage treatment systems - ones that claim to meet the standards required by the Authorities and those that have been tested by the EN testing centres and proved to treat wastewater to an exacting standard, giving a quality of effluent most suited to the site and customer requirements.  This test costs around £40,000 per model.  Many of the former are simply sold on price, have insufficient volume to comply with the Building Regulations, have never been independently tested by anyone and don't have the mandatory EN 12566 Certification - they are, in fact, ILLEGAL in the UK.  The manufacturers, dealers and installers simply hope that the customer is either ignorant of the current EN 12566 British Standard, or they declare that the plant or tank is 'designed' to EN 12566. This does NOT make it legal. The first type is sold on price alone with very little accurate advice or system design service given - in fact - some of the 'advice' given by these companies is totally wrong, contravenes all the UK regulations and makes us very angry.  Our specialist design work and advice is FREE, accurate, up to date and ALWAYS complies with British Standards, E.A.
